This granola is great two ways! Keep reading for both chewy granola bars OR crunchy, yummy granola to sprinkle on any number of things.

Ingredients:
1/2 c. honey, maple syrup, or sugar free maple syrup (I used Mrs. Butterworth’s sugar free syrup.)
1/2 c. honey
1/2 c. canola oil
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. old-fashioned rolled oats
1 c. sliced almonds
1/2 c. flake coconut
1 c. raisins, Craisins, or any other dried fruit
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 300° F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Stir together the syrup, honey, oil, cinnamon and salt.
- Add oats, almonds and coconut
- Spread evenly onto the baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.
- Remove from oven, stir and place back into the oven for an additional 10 minutes.
- If you like chewy granola bars, this is the end of the baking. Add the dried fruit, let it cool a few minutes then press the mixture together. Allow to cool completely and cut into bars.
- If you like crunchier granola crumbles, add the fruit, mix and return to the oven for another 10 minutes.
- Remove from oven, stir and return to the oven for a final 10 minute session.
- Remove from oven, stir and allow to cool to room temperature, stirring occasionally.
- Store both types in an airtight container.
- Enjoy!!
Note: Granola is something that is infinitely customizable! Don’t like coconut? Replace with sunflower seeds, pepitas (pumpkin seeds), pecans, walnuts or dried apricots. If you like more fruit, just add 1/8 cup of syrup and 1/8 cup oil for each cup of additional ingredients.
